But it is not just about tennis. The Modern Serve is at the junction of adult recreational tennis, wellness, beauty, personal style, and travel — because I believe tennis is so much more than what happens on the court. My Tennis Journey
I’m sharing my experience in tennis as an adult recreational player who is learning, improving, experimenting, and enjoying the process. I’m not here to pretend I have all the answers. I’m here to share my journey. In The Modern Serve, I’ll share my personal journey of learning to play tennis as an adult, along with insights and information on tennis training, recovery, equipment, fashion, nutrition, and the mental side of the game. There is something special about taking up a new sport in later life. It gives you a chance to see things from a different perspective, to be more appreciative of your body and your time, and hopefully develop a focus on enjoying the process rather than striving for perfection.
The goal isn’t simply to play more tennis. It’s about building a life around it.
